HELPING IN WEST AFRICA
In 2025 we’re returning to The Gambia to improve the lives of rural communities here and in Senegal and Mauritania. We’re planning on digging a new well in Janjanbureh, The Gambia, assist handicapped people in The Gambia and furnish several schools in Senegal, Gambia and Mauritania.
NEW WELL FOR JANJANBUREH: Janjanbureh is an adorable small town in The Gambia, a town that is spreading to neighboring villages. Some of these communities are lacking clean water and women and girls have to walk to neighboring communities for drinking water. Help us dig a well for Janjabureh to give the priceless gift of life, fresh water.
WHEELCHAIRS AND MOBILITY AIDS FOR JANJANBUREH. People with disabilities are on the lower ranks of the social ladder in West Africa. Access to walking aids, canes, wheelchairs is often out of the question for them and they are destined to rot away around their homes and making life difficult for them and their families. Help improve their lives by donating canes and wheelchairs. Find a rally team to bring your donation or donate to our collection so we can help them.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR SCHOOLS IN MAURITANIA, SENEGAL AND THE GAMBIA: Help us furnish schools in some of Africa’s poorest rural communities. Donate projectors, computers, cell phones, books in French or English, note books, art supplies. Give your donations to a rally team or donate to the rally’s central fund raiser.
